MOST DENTAL INSURANCE PLANS COVER ALL OR MOST EXAMS & CLEANINGS TWICE A YEAR!
Throughout your dental examination we will look for signs of oral diseases or cancer. We will feel the location under your jaw, the sides of your neck, and the within your lips and cheeks to take a look at the sides of your tongue and the roofing and flooring of your mouth. X-rays aren’t usually required at every dental exam, but they’re available when necessary.
We will also ask about any health issue you have or medications you’re taking and go over how they might affect your oral health. If you have diabetes, for example, you’re at an increased risk of gum problems.
If you have prosthetic replacements– such as dentures or bridges– we will analyze how well they go over the need and fit for modifications.
